Special Molly

Set:	4 couple longways.
Music:	Shave the Donkey.
Trivia:	Based on the "Comberton Special", the only recorded traditional Molly dance that was not also a Feast dance. The chorus is reasonably close to the original, the figures are far less so.

Figure 1: Cross and turn
1-16 Cross and turn across and back.

Lead down
1 1&2 take waist hold facing down.
3-8 take inside hands facing up.
2 3-8 raise hands to form arches.
3-8 1&2 start leading down under the arches.
3-8 dance up.
On beat 4 3&4 turn to face down, turning in, and take waist hold.
5&6 do the same on beat 6, and 7&8 on beat 8.
Start leading down once turned.
Don't go too far down!
9 1&2, still in waist hold take hold of the free hand.
3-8 continue stepping (probably on the spot by now).
10 1&2 drop waist hold and turn to face up, forming an arch.
3-8 continue stepping.
11-15 3&4 do the same on beats 11&12, and 5&6 on beats 13&14.
Lead down before turning, dance back up once turned.
7&8 take free hands on beat 15.
16 Fall back into starting places.

Polka round
1-4 1,2,3&4 half polka round.
5-8 1,2,5&6 half polka round.
9-12 1,2,7&8 half polka round.
13-16 1&2 half polka turn on the spot.
